We were looking for a nice couples getaway so we wanted to try it out. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The staff were super friendly and made us feel at home. The rooms were clean, comfy and well set up. When we went to eat at the restaurant we were treated to an awesome steak dinner and a few nice cocktails to get us relaxed. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a nice relaxing weekend. Highly recommend.
I had a zoom meeting on my hotspot and it was clear as a whistle! Starlink also available. Secluded enough to let my dog roam off leash without getting onto the road or other properties. Patio, lounge and cozy dining room. Medium rare steak was grilled to perfection. Our committee loves the salmon. Staff accommodated our committee meeting in their restaurant on the day they were closed. Birds singing all day and night. And late check out permitted. Pro tip: ask to meet their dogs Exactly what I needed!
We had an amazing time at Jewel of the North! It’s the best cottage accommodation near Emma Lake—clean, cozy, and so peaceful. Everything we needed was there.
I loved staying at the Jewel of the North cabin near Emma Lake. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful.
Had a lovely stay in one of their cabins. The location is great, views are lovely and it's near to a few beaches and Christopher Lake town. Kitchen is fairly well appointed but bring pepper, sugar as they aren't in the rooms although I'm sure you could ask at the lodge. Bedding was all very clean and they're generous with towels which is nice. Could use some deep cleaning (grill, floor corners, walls) but nothing that mattered was dirty and this is meant to be a rustic cabin after all. The lady that runs it is very diligent and friendly. We brought and cooked our own food on the BBQ but the restaurant smelled great. We had a couple cabins next to us of guys on a boys weekend but the cabins are well enough insulated that we actually couldn't hear their shenanigans which was nice. We'd come back.
